McCormack Fay Academy of Irish Dance, with locations in Oak Forest, Crystal Lake, Woodstock, Illinois and St. John, Indiana, provides professional Irish dance training to girls and boys ages 3 and up.
Dancers of all levels will enjoy a fun, hardworking environment that promotes self confidence, sportsmanship, and physical fitness, while being technically trained.
The McCormack Fay Academy has been established in Dublin, Ireland for over 40 yrs. The TCRGs (Certified Irish Dance Teacher) / ADCRGs (Certified Adjudicator) of the Dublin Academy are Grainne McCormack and Fergal Fay. The McCormack Fay Academy is a school in the Chicago area under instruction of Dearbhla Fay (TCRG) — daughter to Grainne and Martin Fay of The Chieftains.
Dearbhla has taken first place 13 times in the All-Ireland and International Championships. She then furthered her dance career by dancing in Riverdance for 7 years. Dearbhla has taught all over Ireland, England, and currently teaches in the US as a certified teacher with An Coimisiun in the Chicagoland area.
