Irish Fest at Gaelic Park always serves Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks, Magners and Harp but we cater to all tastes and will serve Goose Island IPAs And Bell’s Oberon in 2018.
GOOSE IPA: THE MOST AWARDED IPA Goose Island’s flagship IPA is a six-time medal winner at the Great American Beer Festival. We’ve taken the traditional English Style and created our own fuller flavored IPA with bright citrus aromas and a bold hop finish. With hoppy, bold, and smooth flavor, Goose IPA is the perfect beer for hopheads and discovery drinkers alike.
312 URBAN WHEAT ALE: CHICAGO’S AUTHENTIC CRAFT BEER SINCE 1988
Inspired by the city of Chicago and densely populated with flavor, 312’s spicy aroma of Cascade hops is followed by a carisp, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body that’s immensely refreshing.
BELL’S OBAERON ALE The heart of Bell’s summer lineup, Oberon Ale offers a refreshing mix of malted wheat flavor and fruity notes, wrapped up in a distinctively citrusy hop aroma. Brewed around the concept of balance, Oberon brings a moderate bodied yet fullflavored ale to the table that complements all manner of summer activities.

Chicago Gaelic Park prides ourselves in being a family oriented festival and so we have many activities geared not only for the kids but for the entire family. Irish culture and just plain fun abounds for the family in storytelling, dance, plays and music. Magic shows have been known to astound even the most skeptical observers.
At Irish Fest this year you will be able to pick up your Irish souvenir, clothing, jewelry and gift needs — the Irish Import stores here have everything you’d want, straight from the Emerald Isle.
0n Memorial Weekend 2019, Chicago Gaelic Park Irish Fest will be attempting to enter The Guinness Book of Records for the most Irish Sausages consumed on a 3 Day Irish Festival Weekend. In conjunction with this record attempt there will be an Irish Sausage eating contest on Saturday and Sunday May 25th and 26th 5pm each day on the patio sponsored by Chicago’s favorite Irish sausage maker Winston’s Market. Entry fee for sausage eating contest will be $10 each day.
The Tea Room, one of Chicago Gaelic Park’s most praised places over the Irish Fest Weekend, extends a Cead Mile Failte to all and offers friendly and flexible service to all festival patrons with hot Irish tea served throughout the day and evening. Located near the entrance of the festival grounds with its own authentic signage, the Irish Tea Room evokes the best of old and contemporary Ireland in a comfortable and simple setting. This is a lovely spot for a quick break and a sit down; to sit back and catch up with friends. But good home baking has always been their big thing, including soda bread and some desserts, of course, delicious freshly-baked scones, and sold with a perfect pot of hot Irish tea. Hot coffee is also available. We had one couple who met here and became engaged so you never know; this is where you might meet the love of your life….stop by for a cuppa tea!!!
A petting zoo (often called, or part of, a “children’s zoo”) features a combination of domestic animals and some wild species that are docile enough to touch and feed. In addition to independent petting zoos, also called children’s farms or petting farms, many general zoos contain a petting zoo.
